Unconditional Love

Over the last 18 months in my personal growth the same message kept coming back, to have unconditional love for all creation. While in Sedona AZ, God said "do not judge, only Love" and so I continue to love unconditionally. Somedays it's easy and somedays it's not but I constantly tell myself I am filled with Peace, Joy and Love...and so I am.

We all must have unconditional love towards each other and everything. If people can manifest more love, this world would be a better place.

Five Steps to Aundance ~~ Jo Dunning

There are five simple steps which will allow us to receive the abundance and prosperity we would like. They are natural steps of giving and receiving which we can use each day to create the circular flow of joyful prosperity and abundance in our lives. Soon these steps become our way of life and an easy expression of our joy and prosperity.

To step into the flow of Abundance for your life.

1. Give what you want to receive. The flow of Abundance is already all around you. To step into this flow is easy. Give to someone else the very thing you would like to receive. And give it freely without expectations of receiving, as if you already had more than enough. If you want more kindness in your life, be kind to someone, if you want more happiness in your life, make someone else happy, if you want more money in your life, share a little of what you have. Give it away easily, like you already had all that you need and there is plenty more from where that came from.

2. Trust and know. The next step is to trust and know you have just stepped into the flow of abundance and are now aligned with what you want. Know there is more than enough to go around and it is easy to have all you want.

3. Take Action. Participation is an important part of Abundance. While you are knowing you are now aligned with the flow of the abundance you want, it is also important to participate and help make things happen. Follow your inner knowing and your intuition and do your part to help create the abundance you would like to have. Continue to participate until you are receiving what you want.

4. Be Grateful. Gratitude is a vital step in the flow of abundance. It is a powerful magnet which keeps us in the flow and aligned with receiving all the wonderful things we desire. Fill yourself with gratitude all the time, even about the small and seemingly simple things in your life. There is always something to be grateful about. When you notice a little of what you want flowing to you, take a moment and be grateful for what you have received, regardless of how big or small it may be. Be grateful and say thank you.

5. Pass it on. When you receive a little abundance take a moment and pass some of it on and assist someone else in feeling a little more abundant. When you pass on some of what you receive, do it easily as if you already have more than you need, expecting nothing in return. When you pass it on in this way you are now starting the process all over again and have once again taken the first step to "give what you want to receive." In this way the flow of abundance continues and becomes more and more each time.

Practice Forgiveness Daily

Forgiveness ~ an attitude and act that is vital to our well-being.

Begin each day with forgiveness of self & others.

Forgiveness of self is the most difficult task of all because you become aware of your failings and you are your worst critic.

Because we are human, we have weaknesses and make our share of mistakes. Be aware of this and work at overcoming them, which at times will not be easy.

It is important to forgive, so attempt it, this forgiveness of self and others every day.

Hooponopono daily forgiveness meditation:
I'm sorry. Please forgive. Thank you. I love you.

A Belief

A belief is nothing more than a chronic pattern of thought and you have the ability, if you try even a little bit, to begin a new pattern, to tell a new story, to achieve a different vibration, to change your point of attraction.

The Law of Attraction is responding to your vibration and you can easily change your vibrational point of attraction by visualizing the lifestyle you desire and holding your attention upon those images until you gegin to feel relief, which will indicate that a true vibrational shift has occurred.

Energy First, Harmony Second

Most of us react to challenging situations in our lives with anger, insecurity, or fear, never realizing that we create what we experience: Our outward lives relfect imbalances in our lives.

Begin to shift your focus away from the problem mindset and focus on realigning with the inner energy (chakra) that is causing the imbalance.

The chakras are an ancient model for awakening and balancing your physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual energies. These vortexes of energy serve as a map to your inner world. The more freely energy flows within you, the stronger your state of health and well-being.

When problems, challenges and difficulties arise in your life, the balancing of your chakras will help you to experience life in a joyful, more harmonious way, the outer world will fall into place also.

Define Your Dreams

Have you ever given deep thought to what you want to create
in your life? Consider each of the various areas of your life
and focus on what you do want, not on what you don’t want.
Get in touch with your inner truth, your dreams, goals, and
your desires. Honor these and own them without fear, shame
or embarrassment. Your dreams and desires are not subject to
anyone else’s approval. They are yours and yours alone, but
you have to define them in order to achieve them.

You deserve to have everything you want in life, whether it is
a romantic relationship, a vacation, a new home, a new car or
financial prosperity. I must tell you this, contrary to popular belief,
there is nothing wrong with desiring financial wealth, you don’t
have to feel guilty for it. You can do much good in the world with
greater financial assets in your bank. It is the attachment to money
that can become problematic, so remember that you must give
in order to receive.

Ignite the passion within you to achieve your dreams and it will
send a positive vibrational frequency out into the world. The
universe will respond accordingly, that is the Law of Attraction.

All things are possible, so don’t limit your visions for your future.
You must believe in yourself and believe that you are worthy, you
are good enough to receive your hearts desires. Keep all of your
actions, dreams, goals, and desires in alignment with your life
purpose. Decide what you truly want and create it.

Begin my defining your goals and dreams. Here are seven key
areas in your life to consider:

1. Personal goals: things you want to do, be, and have…
2. Relationships: friends, family, romantic, coworkers…
3. Health and Body: wellness, fitness, body image…
4. Career and Education: job, business, school, career goals…
5. Recreation: sports, hobbies, fun, vacations…
6. Financial: income, savings, investments…
7. Contribution: charities, community service…

Now ask yourself these questions:
Do I have personal goals and aspirations?
What is my life purpose?
What is it I love to do?
What am I passionate about?
What do I want to accomplish?
Where do I want to go?
What do I want to be or who do I want to be?
How can I give to others?
What causes speak to me?
What are my intentions?

In order to attract what you want in your life, you must first
take the time to clearly identify your dreams and desires.

To the person who does not know
where he wants to go there is
no favorable wind.
~~ Seneca ~~

To operate in harmony with the Law of Attraction, you must
first place your order in life. Become clear on your goals and
be specific, stop settling for whatever comes your way in life.
Take ownership and actively participate in the creation of your
own future by clearly stating your desires.

The bottom line is…if you don’t really know exactly what you
are asking for, then how do you expect to get it?

Take the time to decide what you really want to attract in your life,
write it down, and be perfectly clear about it.

You must see your goals clearly
and specifically before you can set out
for them. Hold them in your mind
until they become second nature.

Life Experiences

People say that what we're all seeking is a meaning for life.
I think that what we're seeking is an experience to be alive,
so that our life experiences will resonate within our own
innermost being and reality, so we can feel the rapture of being alive.

Seventeen Rules For A Better Way To Live!

Seventeen Rules For A Better Way To Live!-- by Og Mandino, A Better Way To Live

Rule One for a Better Way to Live: Count your blessings. Once you realize how valuable you are and how much you have going for you, the smiles will return, the sun will break out, the music will play, and you will finally be able to move toward the life that God intended for you... with grace, strength, courage, and confidence.

Rule Two for a Better Way to Live: Today, and every day, deliver more than you are getting paid to do. The victory of success will be half won when you learn the secret of putting out more than is expected in all that you do. Make yourself so valuable in your work that eventually you will become indispensable. Exercise your privilege to go the extra mile, and enjoy all the rewards you receive. You deserve them!

Rule Three for a Better Way to Live: Whenever you make a mistake or get knocked down by life, don't look back at it too long. Mistakes are life's way of teaching you. Your capacity for occasional blunders is inseparable from your capacity to reach your goals. No one wins them all, and your failures, when they happen, are just part of your growth. Shake off your blunders. How will you know your limits without an occasional failure? Never quit. Your turn will come. Rule

Rule Four for a Better Way to Live: Always reward your long hours of labor and toil in the very best way, surrounded by your family. Nurture their love carefully, remembering that your children need models, not critics, and your own progress will hasten when you constantly strive to present your best side to your children. And even if you have failed at all else in the eyes of the world, if you have a loving family, you are a success.

Rule Five for a Better Way to Live: Build this day on a foundation of pleasant thoughts. Never fret at any imperfections that you fear may impede your progress. Remind yourself, as often as necessary, that you are a creature of God and have the power to achieve any dream by lifting up your thoughts. You can fly when you decide that you can. Never consider yourself defeat again. Let the vision in your heart be in your life's blueprint. Smile!

Rule Six for a Better Way to Live: Let your actions always speak for you, but be forever on guard against the terrible traps of false pride and conceit that can halt your progress. The next time you are tempted to boast, just place your fist in a full pail of water, and when you remove it, the hole remaining will give you a correct measure of your importance.

Rule Seven for a Better Way to Live: Each day is a special gift from God, and while life may not always be fair, you must never allow the pains, hurdles, and handicaps of the moment to poison your attitude and plans for yourself and your future. You can never win when you wear the ugly cloak of self-pity, and the sour sound of whining will certainly frighten away any opportunity for success. Never again. There is a better way.

Rule Eight for a Better Way to Live: Never again clutter your days or nights with so many menial and unimportant things that you have no time to accept a real challenge when it comes along. This applies to play as well as work. A day merely survived is no cause for celebration. You are not here to fritter away your precious hours when you have the ability to accomplish so much by making a slight change in your routine. No more busy work. No more hiding from success. Leave time, leave space, to grow. Now. Now! Not tomorrow!

Rule Nine for a Better Way to Live: Live this day as if it will be your last. Remember that you will only find "tomorrow" on the calendars of fools. Forget yesterday's defeats and ignore the problems of tomorrow. This is it. Doomsday. All you have. Make it the best day of your year. The saddest words you can ever utter are, "If I had my life to live over again..."Take the baton, now. Run with it! This is your day!

Rule Ten for a Better Way to Live: Beginning today, treat everyone you meet, friend or foe, loved one or stranger, as if they were going to be dead at midnight. Extend to each person, no matter how trivial the contact, all the care and kindness and understanding and love that you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again.

Rule Eleven for a Better Way to Live: Laugh at yourself and at life. Not in the spirit of derision or whining self-pity, but as a remedy, a miracle drug, that will ease your pain, cure your depression, and help you to put in perspective that seemingly terrible defeat and worry with laughter at your predicaments, thus freeing your mind to think clearly toward the solution that is certain to come. Never take yourself too seriously.

Rule Twelve for a Better Way to Live: Never neglect the little things. Never skimp on that extra effort, that additional few minutes, that soft word of praise or thanks, that delivery of the very best that you can do. It does not matter what others think, it is of prime importance, however, what you think about you. You can never do your best, which should always be your trademark, if you are cutting corners and shirking responsibilities. You are special. Act it. Never neglect the little things.

Rule Thirteen for a Better Way to Live: Welcome every morning with a smile. Look on the new day as another special gift from your Creator, another golden opportunity to complete what you were unable to finish yesterday. Be a self-starter. Let your first hour set the theme of success and positive action that is certain to echo through your entire day. Today will never happen again. Don't waste it with a false start or no start at all. You were not born to fail.

Rule Fourteen for a Better Way to Live: You will achieve grand dream, a day at a time, so set goals for each day -- not long and difficult projects, but chores that will take you, step by step, toward your rainbow. Write them down, if you must, but limit your list so that you won't have to drag today's undone matters into tomorrow. Remember that you cannot build your pyramid in twenty-four hours. Be patient. Never allow your day to become so cluttered that you neglect your most important goal -- to do the best you can, enjoy this day, and rest satisfied with what you have accomplished.

Rule Fifteen for a Better Way to Live: Never allow anyone to rain on your parade and thus cast a pall of gloom and defeat on the entire day. Remember that no talent, no self-denial, no brains, no character, are required to set up in the fault-finding business. Nothing external can have any power over you unless you permit it. Your time is too precious to be sacrificed in wasted days combating the menial forces of hate, jealously, and envy. Guard your fragile life carefully. Only God can shape a flower, but any foolish child can pull it to pieces.

Rule Sixteen for a Better Way to Live: Search for the seed of good in every adversity. Master that principle and you will own a precious shield that will guard you well through all the darkest valley you must traverse. Stars may be seen from the bottom of a deep well, when they cannot be discerned from the mountaintop. So will you learn things in adversity that you would never have discovered without trouble. There is always a seed of good. Find it and prosper.

Rule Seventeen for a Better Way to Live: Realize that true happiness lies within you. Waste no time and effort searching for peace and contentment and joy in the world outside. Remember that there is no happiness in having or in getting, but only in giving. Reach out. Share. Smile. Hug. Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself.

Where do you Choose to put your Attention?

Do you choose to put your attention on the beauty that surrounds you or on the potholes that you stumble through?

Where is your attention being drawn?

Are your thoughts centered on that pothole or do you lift your eyes to see the beauty that surrounds you? There will always be potholes.

Life is filled with potholes, but must your gaze always be drawn to them alone?Lift up your eyes and see the beauty that surrounds you.

Make it your daily task to appreciate just one thing and your gaze will be lifted from your particular pothole. You'll know it's still there, but it's much more interesting and satisfying to watch the things that give you pleasure. Before long, the potholes of the world will seem to disappear leaving you enraptured by the beauty you see all around you.

It's all a matter of where you choose to put your attention.

What We Resist Persist

What does it really mean “What we resist persist” and how does this affect YOU?

Anytime you’re not feeling good you are resisting something.

If you feel unloved, you are resisting love. If you feel betrayed, you are resisting trusting yourself. If you feel abandoned, you are resisting accepting yourself fully, just the way you are.

It all comes back to you, to accepting yourself fully and completely.
It’s about being in conflict with who we really are, being in conflict with our true and abiding nature.

It’s about us believing that we are limited and small when just the opposite is true.

But we believe it anyway.

Live on Purpose and with Passion

Living a life of purpose is not only a true expression of
who you really are, it is your gift to the world, and the
world needs what you have to offer.

When you are living your life "on purpose" you will find
greater fulfillment and joy in all that you do. The universe
will support you in all of your endeavors when you are
living in alignment with your purpose, your passion, and
your innter truth.

~~ The purpose of life is to live a life of purpose ~~ Richard Leider

Begin to take the time to look deeply within yourself and
identify your own personal mission and purpose in life.
This can be done through quiet contemplation, prayer,
and meditation.

Remember this: There are no accidents and you are here
on this planet for a reason. You have a purpose in this life
and in this world, and your contribution does matter.

Peace!

New Opportunities are waiting...

I open new doors to life.
Ahead of me is a continuous corridor of doors,
each one opening to a new experience.
As I move forward, I see myself opening various doors
on wonderful experiences that I would like to have.
I trust that my inner guide is leading me and guiding
me in ways that are best for me, and that my spiritual
growth is coninuously expanding.
No matter which door opens or which door closes,
I am always safe. I am eternal. I will go on forever
from experience to experience. I see myself opening
doors to joy, peace, healing, prosperity, love, understanding,
compassion, forgiveness, freedom, self-worth, and self-esteem.
It is all here before me.

Gratitude

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life.
It turns what we have into enough, and more.
It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order,
confusion into clarity....
It turns problems into gifts, failures into success,
the unexpected into perfect timing,
and mistakes into important events.
Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and
creates a vision for tomorrow.

A special thanks to our friend Dean Perrone for this message!

Being Too Serious Can Ruin Your Success

Are you having fun? Do you get a thrill from your work? Do you enjoy waking up each morning?
Here are some myths about work that can hurt your progress: "Work is not supposed to be fun." "You must buckle down and get serious."

Perhaps the biggest myth of all: "People will think I’m important if I act seriously."
Yet getting serious creates problems: stress, worry, anxiety, emotional pain, drudgery and failure. Resolving problems by getting more serious is like fixing a computer with a hammer. The harder you try, the worse the problem becomes.

12 Ways to Lighten Up

Approaching your life with a non-serious attitude gives you a clearheaded view of difficulties and the energy to deal with them. Problems become easier to solve, people are more cooperative and you feel more relaxed. You probably live longer and more successfully, as well.

Try these ideas until you find one that lightens you up.
1. Deliberately turn a molehill into a mountain. Make a big deal out of a little problem. "I would feel much better if these papers were stacked exactly like this! Not like that! Like this! Not this! This!"
2. Ask yourself, "Is getting serious about this situation really going to improve it?"
3. Focusing on the positives. "What is right about this situation?" "What else is right?" "What else?"
4. Consider a complete, major change. For example, go back to school, move to the ocean, start a new career.
5. Ask yourself, "When I’m on my deathbed, will I be glad I was so serious about _______?"
6. A challenging game is much better than no game at all. So consider losing all aspects of the problem. Examples: You feel serious about family problems. You ask yourself, "Well, what if I had no family at all?" You feel serious about your investments. You ask yourself, "What if I had no money to invest?"
7. The size of your problem may match the size of your game. So get a bigger game. For example, if you get uptight about paper clips being in the wrong drawer, your game size is tiny. Double your amount of responsibility. Set some huge goals. Succeed by thinking much, much bigger.
8. Stop trying to solve the problem that is making you so serious. Certain types of problems solve themselves if you leave them alone. Your problem may be one of those.
9. Compare what you are doing to other careers. Imagine being a septic tank drainer or a tax collector.
10. Make everyone around you lighten up.
11. Look at bizarre solutions. What is the craziest way you could solve your problem? What solution, if it worked, would make you laugh out loud?
12. Act stupid for a minute. Let down your hair. Stop being so darn important for a while. Be a goof!

Begin By Creating Your Vision

1. Thought: Your thoughts are very powerful and by staying focused on the positive, you will attract the positive. Allow your thoughts and energy to be only on the things you want more of in your life. Your energy with flow in the direction of your attention.
2. Gratitude: Be thankful for all of the good that is already present in your life. Be mindful and aware of all the blessings you have each day.
3. Intention: Be clear that your intentions are pure. Focus not only upon that which you wish to receive, but also on your purpose, and how you may be of service to the world.
4. Vision: Envision those things that you wish to mainfest in your life. Create a vision board by choosing images and words that inspire you, that speak to you personally. A visual representation of your goals and desires is a PRICELESS tool. Spend time daily focusing your attention and energy on it and feel it in your heart. See the life you are creating, let it move you to a place of faith and possibilities. BELIEVE!
5. Emotion: Your emotions are crucial. Find the time to do the things that bring you joy. Feel happy. Feel grateful. Feel the bliss of living the life of your dreams as though it were already so. Your emotions will fuel the energy that you send out into the world, and they will dictate that which comes back to you.
6. Prayer and Meditation: Make time each day to simply be still. Clear your mind of any clutter and negativity. Let go of old painful habits and thought patterns, in order to make room for the beauty, joy, and abundance that you deserve.
7. Action: Start by opening your mind and your heart. Become more aware of the opportunities you are presented with each day, and the synchronicity that already exists in your life. Take the steps in the direction of your dreams.

I am Divinely guided, so my business prospers, expands and grows.
I now choose to release any negative thoughts about cash-flow limitations.
I open my consciousness to a quantum leap of prosperity by thinking and accepting that large amounts of money flood to my bank account. I have plenty to use, to spare, and to share.
The law of prosperity keeps the flow of cash moving in abundant amounts.
It pays my bills and brings me everything I need and more.
I now choose to be a living example of prosperity consciousness.
I live and work in comfort and ease and beauty.
I have inner peace and security.
I watch with joy and gratitude as this business continually grows
and prospers far beyond my expectations.
I bless this business with love.

What Positive Emotions Do For You

You may have noticed that when you are feeling
grateful, happy, or joyful there is a sense of lightness and expansion.
You feel connected. You feel alive!
This is your natural state of being.
This is what your life was intended to be.
Strive to live in a state of joy, wonder, and gratitude.
These expansive positive emotions feel good
and raise your vibrational frequency.
In this place of love and joy, you are one with God,
and you are a magnet for all of the beauty and abundance
that the world has to offer.

Flow with Life

I breathe in Love, and I flow with Life

Am I expanding or contracting?

When I expand my thinking, my beliefs, and everything about me,
the love flows freely.
When I contract, I put up walls and shut myself off.
If I am frightened or threatened or feel that something is just not right, I begin to breathe. Breathing opens me up. It straightens my spine. It opens my chest.
It gives my heart room to expand.
By practicing breathing, I drop the barriers and begin to open up.
It is a begnning point.
Instead of going into total panic, I take a few breaths and ask myself:
Do I want to contract, or do I want to expand?

I am Free and at Peace!

Today I am a new person. I relax and free my thoughts of every sense of pressure.
No person, place, or thing can irritate or annoy me.
I am at peace.
I am a free person living in a world that is a reflection of
my own love and understanding.
I am not against anything.
Rather, I am for everything that will improve the quality of my life.
I use my words and my thoughts as tools to shape my future.
I express gratitude and thanksgiving often, and I look for things to be thankful for.
I am relaxed. I live a peacful life.

Seven Spiritual Laws of Success:

We express our gratitude to Deepak Chopra for the wisdom he has shared with us.
To learn more on this subject, we recommend his Book & DVD "The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success"!

1. Law of Pure Potential
The source of all creation is pure consciousness... pure potentiality seeking expression from the unmanifest to the manifest. And when we realize that our true Self is one of pure potentiality, we align with the power that manifests everything in the universe.

Applying The Law of Pure Potentiality ~
I will put the Law of Pure Potentiality into effect by making a commitment to take the following steps:

1) I will get in touch with the field of pure potentiality by taking time each day to be silent, to just Be. I will sit alone in silent meditation at least twice a day for approximately thirty minutes in the morning and thirty minutes in the evening.

2) I will take time each day to commune with nature and to silently witness the intelligence within every living thing. I will sit silently and watch a sunset, or listen to the sound of the ocean or a stream, or simply smell the scent of a flower. In the ecstasy of my own silence, and by communing with nature, I will enjoy the life throb of ages, the field of pure potentiality and unbounded creativity.

3) I will practice non-judgment. I will begin my day with the statement, “Today, I shall judge nothing that occurs,” and throughout the day I will remind myself not to judge.

2. Law of Giving and Receiving
The universe operates through dynamic exchange...giving and receiving are different aspects of the flow of energy in the universe. And in our willingness to give that which we seek, we keep the abundance of the universe circulating in our lives.

Applying The Law of Giving and Receiving ~
I will put the Law of Giving and Receiving into effect by making a commitment to take the following steps:

1) Wherever I go, and whoever I encounter, I will bring them gift. The gift may be a compliment, a flower, or a prayer. Today, I will give something to everyone I come into contact with, and so I will begin the process of circulating joy, wealth and affluence in my life and in the lives of others.

2) Today I will gratefully receive all the gifts that life has to offer me. I will receive the gifts of nature: sunlight and the sound of birds singing, or spring showers or the first snow of winter. I will also be open to receiving from others, whether it be in the form of a material gift, money,
a compliment, or a prayer.

3) I will make a commitment to keep wealth circulating in my life by giving and receiving life's most precious gifts: the gifts of caring, affection, appreciation, and love. Each time I meet someone, I will silently wish them happiness, joy, and laughter.

3. Law of Karma
Every action generates a force of energy that returns to us in like kind...what we sow is what we reap. And when we choose actions that bring happiness and success to others, the fruit of our karma is happiness and success.

Applying The Law of "Karma" or Cause and Effect ~
I will put the Law of Karma into effect by making a commitment to take the following steps:

1) Today I will witness the choices I make in each moment. And in the mere witnessing of these choices, I will bring them to my conscious awareness. I will know that the best way to prepare for any moment in the future is to be fully conscious in the present.

2) Whenever I make a choice, I will ask myself two questions: "What are the consequences of this choice that I'm making?" and "Will this choice bring fulfillment and happiness to me and also to those who are affected by this choice?"

3) I will then ask my heart for guidance and be guided by its message of comfort or discomfort. If the choice feels comfortable, I will plunge ahead with abandon. If the choice feels uncomfortable, I will pause and see the consequences of my action with my inner vision. This guidance will enable me to make spontaneously correct choices for myself and for all those around me.

4. Law of Least Effort
Nature's intelligence functions with effortless ease...with carefreeness, harmony, and love. And when we harness the forces of harmony, joy, and love, we create success and good fortune with effortless ease.

Applying The Law of Least Effort ~
I will put the Law of Least Effort into effect by making a commitment to take the following steps:

1) I will practice Acceptance. Today I will accept people, situations, circumstances, and events as they occur. I will know that this moment is as it should be, because the whole universe is as it should be. I will not struggle against the whole universe by struggling against this moment. My acceptance is total and complete. I accept things as they are this moment, not as I wish they were.

2) Having accepted things as they are, I will take Responsibility for my situation and for all those events I see as problems. I know that taking responsibility means not blaming anyone or anything for my situation and this includes myself). I also know that every problem is an opportunity in disguise, and this alertness to opportunities allows me to take this moment and transform it into a greater benefit.

3) Today my awareness will remain established in Defenselessness. I will relinquish the need to defend my point of view. I will feel no need to convince or persuade others to accept my point of view. I will remain open to all points of view and not be rigidly attached to any one of them.

5. Law of Intention and Desire
Inherent in every intention and desire is the mechanics for its fulfillment...intention and desire in the field of pure potentiality have infinite organizing power. And when we introduce an intention in the fertile ground of pure potentiality, we put this infinite organizing power to work for us.

Applying The Law of Intention and Desire ~
I will put the Law of Intention and Desire into effect by making a commitment to take the following steps:

1) I will make a list of all my desires. I will carry this list with me wherever I go. I will look at this list before I go into my silence and meditation. I will look at it before I go to sleep at night. I will look at it when I wake up in the morning.

2) I will release this list of my desires and surrender it to the womb of creation, trusting that when things don't seem to go my way, there is a reason, and that the cosmic plan has designs for me much grander than even those that I have conceived.

3) I will remind myself to practice present-moment awareness in all my actions. I will refuse to allow obstacles to consume and dissipate the quality of my attention in the present-moment. I will accept the present as it is, and manifest the future through my deepest, most cherished intentions and desires.

6. Law of Detachment
In detachment lies the wisdom of uncertainty...in the wisdom of uncertainty lies the freedom from our past, from the known, which is the prison of past conditioning. And in our willingness to step into the unknown, the field of all possibilities, we surrender ourselves to the creative mind that orchestrates the dance of the universe.

Applying The Law of Detachment ~
I will put the Law of Detachment into effect by making a commitment to take the following steps:

1) Today I will commit myself to detachment. i will allow myself and those around me the freedom to be as they are. I will not rigidly impose my idea of how things should be I will not force solutions on problems, thereby creating new problems. I will participate in everything with detached involvement.

2) Today I will factor in uncertainty as an essential ingredient of my experience. In my willingness to accept uncertainty, solutions will spontaneously emerge out of the problem, out of the confusion, disorder, and chaos. The more uncertain things seem to be, the more secure I will feel, because uncertainty is my path to freedom. Through the wisdom of uncertainty, I will find my security.

3) I will step into the field of all possibilities and anticipate the excitement that can occur when I remain open to an infinity of choices. When I step into the field of all possibilities, I will experience all the fun, adventure, magic, and mystery of life.

7. Law of Dharma
Everyone has a purpose in life...a unique or special talent to give to others. And when we blend this unique talent with service to others, we experience the ecstasy and exultation of our own spirit, which is the ultimate goal of all goals.

Applying The Law of "Dharma" or Purpose in Life ~
I will put the Law of Dharma into effect by making a commitment to take the following steps:

1) Today I will lovingly nurture the God in embryo that lies deep within my soul. i will pay attention to the spirit within me that animates both my body and my mind. I will awaken myself to this deep stillness within my heart. I will carry the consciousness of timeless, eternal Being in the midst of time-bound experience.

2) I will make a list of my unique talents. Then I will list all the things that I love to do while expressing my unique talents. When I express my unique talents and use them in the service of humanity, I lose track of time and create abundance in my life as well as in the lives of others.

3) I will ask myself daily, "How can I serve?" and "How can I help?" The answers to these questions will allow me to help and serve my fellow human beings with love.

Jack Canfield: When Success is Slow, What Can You Do?

When we admire someone's success, or even our own, we often focus on the end result and not so much on the effort (and time) that it took to get there. This can cultivate unrealistic expectations, especially the idea that overnight success can happen through careful strategy and an execution of sound advice.

The truth be told, success typically follows a series of little events and achievements that can seem to take an eternity, that include a few disappointments along the way, and that challenge everything about you to the core - your stamina, courage, integrity, and even your willingness to keep going.

If you focus on what's not working, guess what: You're likely coming from a place of aggravation as your mind wraps around all that is wrong.
You may even have negative thoughts like "I'm not good enough," "It will never work," or "Something must be wrong with me."

What this mentally does is engender more of these counter-productive feelings. And given what we know about the Law of Attraction, you attract what you are feeling. So negative experiences, people, and results will beget more negative experience, people, and results. There's not much success in that.

The key, then, is to focus on what IS working. To do so, I recommend two simple practices: journaling and meditation.
Maintaining a journal (I call it an Evidence Log, Results Journal, or Gratitude Journal) is a great way to steer your attention to the positive and continually renew your vision for yourself.

Start each day with reflections on what you are grateful for in your life (list them out!) and end each day with notes on what went right (again, write them down), however small they may seem.

Spend time each day in quiet contemplation, prayer or meditation.
Meditation can be a powerful tool for arriving at solutions to problems and shifting your attitude so you can attract success sooner rather than later. The magic of meditation is its ability to essentially shut down the outer layer of your judgmental, highly-critical brain and allow your unconscious mind to take over. This is where you enter a deeper state of inner peace and joy, tapping into a higher level of creativity that will help usher in the results you want.

Let's say you're doing ALL these things, but you still aren't happy with your results...

I'll ask you then, are you taking real ACTION?

You may be taking the actions you are used to taking. But if you keep doing what you've already done, then you'll keep getting what you've always gotten. It's a matter of practicing some new behaviors. Shake things up a bit and see if you can take new actions or modify existing ones.

Remember the Rule of 5.
Every day do five specific things that take you toward your goal. Change up the five actions regularly and be open to feedback so you know when you're off course.

Lastly, I want to remind you about patience.
It's natural to underestimate how long a certain goal can take, especially a profound one. When I set a goal to become a millionaire the year was 1983. How long did it take? Eleven years. It took time for Chicken Soup for the Soul to hit the bestseller lists. You could say our tenure on the New York Times list was more than a decade in the making. That's a lot of patience for someone who initially wanted overnight success.

So, yes, patience is a virtue. But keep at it, and in no time, you'll be only one week, or one day away from your ultimate success.

Remember... be Grateful, reflect on what IS working and continue to take ACTION!

JOY an Attitude

Joy is an attitude;
it is the presence of love
for self and others. It comes from a feeling
of inner peace, the ability to give and receive,
and appreciation of the self and others.
It is a state of gratitude and compassion,
a feeling of connection to your higher self.
